Volunteering Services

Sometimes in order to get your name out there you have to volunteer your services. I have done and doing just that.

I have a great friend that is a wonderful motivational speaker and youth mentor. After some overdue catching up, he proceeded to tell me what he needed to get his business going. That was the door to tell him about my business.

He needed to get his name out to the public. So, we began discussing that he needed to have a website as his storefront to what he has to offer and what he is all about, along with social networking avenues.

I have built him a website and giving him guidance for the social networking sites. Also, I am someone he can bounce his ideas off on. As well as having that second eye to check and re-check things, i.e., business cards and brochures. Things that have given him an opportunity to focus on what he does best.

I know that me volunteering my time and services to allow him get his business going, will be rewarded. I know that if someone else needs assistance, he will not hesitate to refer them to me.

In summary, it does not hurt your business to volunteer your time and services, especially when you know that it will help for a better cause, as well as help get your name out there.
