Giving Thanks
As the leaves begin to turn different shades of brown, rust, and orange; the beginnings of the seasons change. These are evidence that the holidays are approaching.
The occasion of thanksgiving is impending. The smells of turkey and pecan pie will fill the air. Families will be getting together to spend incalculable amount of hours together.
Thanksgiving is a traditional time to come together as a family, to enjoy a myriad of various dishes of succulent flavors. In addition, it is a time to spend with family and friends, reminisce on times of old, and recount the many blessings received throughout the year.
While I cogitate on things of the elapsed year, I reflect on my health and strength that God has allowed me to obtain. I am appreciative of the career that I have as well as being the owner of my own business. Furthermore, I am elated to be the visionary behind this great canvas of Black Professional Women blog.
I continue to look back in the rearview mirror of my mind, and I set eyes on an assemblage of great people who support and pray for me. To all of you I am thankful.
Blessings,
LaVida Harris
